14-week music therapy package
From September 2025, we will be offering a music therapy package, where a music therapist will visit you for one day per week for 14 weeks. Over this time you will see how music therapy might work in your organisation and begin to see many of the benefits on the levels of individuals, groups and the community as a whole. The package also includes staff training, so that the provision has a lasting impact beyond the 14 weeks. At the end of this period, you can request to commit to a longer period of music therapy if you wish.
Exactly what this 14-week provision will look like will depend on the organisation; everything we do is a collaboration with the staff. This is why we spend the first week meeting residents and talking to those who know the organisation best. Through this process, we can get a sense of how best to approach the service.
There are then 12 weeks of music therapy delivery. This can include:
- Individual sessions (often for people who are the most isolated)
- Group sessions
- Staff training
Our staff training is called ‘Musicality Awareness’. This training is both for staff with some musical experience, and those with none at all. Through this training, we can help staff to think about how they can use music to enhance their relationships and connections with residents.
The final week will be spent assessing the impact of the provision, so that you have a tangible sense of how the service has worked.

1 year package
From September 2025, we will be offering The Rhythm of Care, a year-long music therapy package designed to embed the transformative potential of music within your organisation. A qualified music therapist will visit once a week for a full year, allowing time and space for the service to become part of everyday life. Over this period, you’ll be able to see how music therapy can support emotional wellbeing, enhance connection, and foster a sense of community across individuals, groups, and the wider setting.
The package also includes dedicated staff training, ensuring that the benefits of music therapy extend well beyond the therapist’s visits and leave a lasting legacy. At the end of the year, there will be the opportunity to continue the service, shaped by your needs and experience.
What this provision looks like in practice will depend on your organisation – everything we do is developed in partnership with your team. We begin with an introductory phase, spending the first few weeks meeting residents and speaking with those who know the environment best. This collaborative process allows us to tailor the service in a way that truly fits.
The core of the year is made up of regular music therapy delivery, which can include:
Our training, called ‘The Rhythm of Care’, is accessible to all staff – whether they have musical experience or none at all. It’s about recognising the everyday ways music can support connection, communication, and emotional expression, and giving staff the confidence to bring these ideas into their own practice.
In the final weeks, we’ll review and reflect on the impact of the programme, so that you have a clear understanding of the changes and benefits that have taken place.
